Eccentric and genius, Karl Lagerfeld nailed it once again with his new short Chanel film “Reincarnation”, starring Cara Delevingne and Pharrell Williams. Highlighting the 2014/15 Métiers d’art collection shown on December 2 in Salzburg, Delevigne and Pharrell act as hotel employees transformed into reincarnations of European royalty who sing “CC the World” (written by Pharrell, clearly).
A lesson in the iconic French fashion house’s history, the film tells the story of Coco Chanel and the Chanel jacket in a way that is appropriate for 2015. Bravo, Karl! -Jesse
