A touch of gold is ruling the world of interior design! We’re feeling gold tones—whether it’s brass, furniture upholstered with golden fabrics, a gilded wall treatment, or a bronze carpet—gold accents are definitely making a huge comeback. Throughout history brass and gilding have always had a place in classic rooms and décor, particularly in Europe. Then, brass and gold were all the rage from the seventies through the early eighties in contemporary design. Just as trends flair in fashion, golden tones are once again shining light into current decor. Below we’ve curated some stylish examples of how it’s done today.
