In our recent article on sculptural design, I mentioned the significance of carefully selecting furniture and how some of the most fascinating rooms also happen to contain the most sculptural elements.
This week, our focus is on using sculptural chairs to complete a room and make a statement. When choosing furniture, it’s important to consider all view points. If you have a pair of chairs that are stationary against a wall, it may not be necessary for the backs of the chairs to contain much detail. On the other hand, if you have a chair floating in a room, be sure the form is visually interesting and appealing from every angle.
