VT Co-Founder Jesse Garza shares his thoughts on finding clarity on who you are, from the inside out:
“This year has been a period of relaunch for me. From kicking off 2014 in the company of amazing author and guru Antonio Alameida, who coaches people to realize their full potential, to finding the diet that works for me (Hugh Jackman’s ‘Wolverine’ diet from Men’s Fitness), I feel more confident now than I did in my 30s.
When we work with clients, we always say that when image (the outer) and identity (the inner) are aligned, the result is clarity that will bring you places and help you reach your goals in all spheres of life. There’s a quiet confidence that comes with looking (and feeling!) like the best version of yourself. It allows you to, as one of the world’s most successful business ladies – Sheryl Sandberg – says, to“lean into your ambitions”, and give the world a clear and consistent message. There’s a reason the word ‘therapy’ is part of our brand Visual Therapy.
These days we are so bombarded with information on the next popular diet and trendy exercise regimen, but the fact is, it’s all about finding the right diet and workout routing for YOU. If you want to read more on this, we have interviewed yoga superstar Tara Stiles about moving through life with ease, and asked celebrity personal trainer Tanya Etessam for a way to get started with getting your body spring-ready.
This season, I’m inspired by relaxed ease and the combination of clean with classic, as seen on the April cover of Details with Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. I like adding rocked out pieces to make it my own. There’s something very fresh about the contrast of clean-cut and rough.
