Shopping Diary: Must-Visit Boutiques In Paris

No trip to Paris is complete without shopping… ooh la la! I just love walking the streets of this magical city and discovering treasures in its small boutiques. Here are my favorite Paris shopping spots this year.

FIRST STOP: ALAIA OUTLET

Let’s get it straight: every girl needs a pair of Alaias. Place to get them? The Alaia outlet (18 rue de la Verrerie)Studded sandals are everything, so I went for a pair of neutral studded beauties.

SECOND STOP: VINTAGE BAR

Next up: Vintage bar on Rue de la Verrerie (16 rue de la Verrerie).  The store has great designer vintage including Hermes, Chanel, YSL and Louis Vuitton.

THIRD STOP: DAPHNE DASQUE

I LOVED this charmingly chic jewelry boutique in the Marais (72 Rue Vieille du Temple). As soon as I saw this Egyptian revival cobra bracelet that was actually cast from the designer’s own great grandmother’s collection – love at first sight! In fact, according to the Chinese zodiac, I am a snake… it was a must have! I ended up going back to Daphné Dasque and buying a few more great pieces.

FOURTH STOP: THE KOOPLES

My final shopping stop (for now) was The Kooples (106 Vieille du temple). This embroidered jacket spoke to me as I considered having a little Saint Laurent moment on our final night in Paris!
