Giambattista Valli played with contrast, gorgeous appliqué and pared-down silhouettes. The result is an incredibly consistent and feminine collection.

“A woman is like a disco ball, she shines and reflects in so many directions,” said Roland Mouret in his interview to Visual Therapy, and proved it with his spring 2014 show. Staying true to his body-conscious designs, Mouret added a futuristic twist to the pieces.

We can always count on ‘Elbaz the Great’ of Lanvin to push the envelope when it comes to fabrication, textures and, in this case, shine. The collection for spring was a study in pushing the sparkling envelope, and if you are into it, this collection is a wow.

Keeping up with the brand’s tradition, the spring 2014 Hermès collection is complete with chic and wearable pieces that you will have forever. Long fluid shapes, easy spirit and elegance – those were the defining points that we loved about the show.

There was a new sense of experiment and play in the Balenciaga Spring 2014 show. The pieces started off with a feeling of rigidity, and as the collection went on, that rigidity gave way to a sense of ease that Wang was striving for, and the looks came across as effortless and chic.
