NYFW isn’t over just yet, but most of our favorite designers have already shown their collections and we’re eager to share some of our favorite shots from their shows and presentations. The week started off with Nanushka and Jason Wu, two very different but beautiful collections that we can’t wait to see in stores come Fall.

We capped off the weekend with Prabal Gurung’s incredibly vibrant men and women’s FW 19 collection, a stark contrast to Monday morning’s minimalist chic collection by The Row. We’re looking forward to attending a few more shows this week but in the meantime, check out our highlights from the designers we mentioned above.

NANUSHKA

We’ve been fans of this up-and-coming Hungarian brand for a few seasons now, and their FW 2019 presentation was truly a favorite. The theme chosen can be best described as desert meets urban chic, and the live musical performance gave the presentation a very young, energized vibe. This season featured Nanushka’s first men’s collection with a line up of chunky knits, warm earth tones, lots of great textures, and sumptuous faux leather pieces.

JASON WU COLLECTION

Always a favorite of ours, we sell a ton of Jason Wu’s classic workwear to our clients. We were excited to see his offerings this season, a preview of what’s to come for our clients’ wardrobes in the fall. The color palette was kept simple ranging from a layered gown done in the palest rose, to a fiery red ruffled cocktail dress, and ultimately to an effortlessly chic black feathered gown. The collection had an ethereal, dreamy quality to it, and was nothing short of beautiful.

PRABAL GURUNG

There’s so much we love about Prabal Gurung—his designs are always feminine, playful, flattering, and colorful, he whole heartedly embraces size inclusivity, and his inspiration is always incredibly meaningful since it stems from his culture and home country of Nepal. As always, his newest collection was a feast for the senses, incorporating rainbow bright feathered pieces, vibrant printed silk dresses and separates, and enough incredible black tie looks to fill your entire social calendar. To say we were blown away would be an understatement.

THE ROW

The Row’s last few collections have been the epitome of chic, and we were beyond excited to see what was in store for FW 2019. In a time when fashion has become centered around influencers, Instagram followers, and street style, The Row’s impeccably constructed, minimal garments are a breath of fresh air and a welcome change from the status quo. The clean, sweeping silhouettes in muted, classic colors took our breath away. Needless to say, we will be anxiously awaiting the collection’s arrival in stores this fall.
