Derek Lam is a staple in most of our clients’ wardrobes. The designer always knows how to put together an extremely chic, wearable collection, and FW 2015 was no exception. The incredible show was dedicated to a group of ladies he called his “New York heroines,” actresses Diane Keaton, Mia Farrow, Dianne Wiest, and Katharine Hepburn. “I love their patrician, urban, tweedy sensibility,” said Lam.
There were nods to the ’70s — it felt like elements of the Brady Bunch look got a chic reinvention. The coats were pure perfection, some of the best we’ve seen on the market.

The muted, but unexpected color combinations — think mahogany paired with camel and black in one look — in FW 2015 collection is one of the favorite things we’ve seen on the runway so far.
