There was a lot of talk in the fashion circles around John Galliano taking the position of designer-in-residence at Oscar de la Renta for three weeks around the Fashion Week. The collection turned out to be an eclectic fusion of classic Oscar de la Renta printed fabrics, iconic Dior silhouette and dramatic dark makeup reminiscent of Galliano’s Paris days.
