The Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Haute Couture show took our breath away. An elegant parade of colors, textures, and bold accessories, the collection was a modern take on Hollywood glamour… “retro into the future”! Once inside the venue – Grand Palais, the mood switched from classic to modernist.
The show reminded us of starlet photographs from George Hurrell in the 30s and 40s.

Our favorite looks were a drapey black gown and a monochromatic nude gown and cape.
The four colorful gowns in the finale were like beautiful macaroons floating down the runway. -X LM & Jesse
