It was Giorgio Armani’s birthday this week… happy birthday to Maestro!
While in Paris, Lisa Marie and I had the honor to attend to the Armani Privé Haute Couture show and Lasserre dinner with Sophia Loren in attendance… it was magical! We entered the world of Mr. Armani as soon as we walked into the pre-show cocktail hour – a gorgeous entry hall that felt like a giant black box with spots of lights on little bistro tables, and a big “Armani Privé” sign. The energy of the runway space itself gave a feeling that we’re in the presence of greatness.
When it comes to tasteful elegance and glamour, nobody does it like Armani. Always staying true to himself, the designer creates looks that are always undeniably Armani and are the definition of chic. We fainted for the gowns – from mauve organza to gorgeous beads and beautifully draped silk, all completed with stunning veils. It was to die for! -Jesse
