The luncheon season is approaching. To us, that means hat shopping for clients! When it comes to stylish hats, Kokin is a legend. His stunning and versatile creations have been spotted on some of the most famous heads, including Bianca Jagger, Joan Collins, Sharon Stone and Daphe Guinness, and Jennifer Lopez, among others.
Last week, we stopped by the Kokin boutique on Lexington Avenue. While there, we got to work with Kokin personally. What an amazing experience! One hat, another hat, add a bow, add a veil… It felt like a scene from “Alice in Wonderland”, where Kokin was much more than a hat designer: He was a magician pulling rabbits out of a hat. –Jesse
