We’re constantly inspired by Frida Giannini – she brings so much more to Gucci than beautiful collections. Even though Gucci has been cultivating its connection with Hollywood since 1940s, the relationship between the brand and the film industry has been especially powerful in the last few years. Since 2006, Gucci has donated over $2 million to Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation to restore movie classics, and there’s an Annual Gucci Award for Women in Cinema that recognizes women in an industry that is very male-dominated. That’s on top of partnerships with Tribeca Film Institite, MoMA, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
