Gucci Cruise 2013 Exclusive Presentation

One Of Our Favorite Looks from Gucci Cruise 2013

Last week, Joe and I went to an exclusive presentation of the Gucci Women’s Collection Cruise 2013. It was more than just a presentation of clothes: as we walked through the doors of an Upper East Side Mediterranean mansion, we felt instantly transported to a beautiful garden in Italy.

The theme of the collection was the Flora print – originally lifted from a fifties Gucci scarf made for Grace Kelly, and reinterpreted by Frida Giannini in a new, fresh way. One of the things Frida always brings to her collections is a feminine touch. Combined with Gucci’s traditional sexy edge, it’s pure perfection. On the other side of the courtyard was the Equestrian capsule and trays with the gorgeous jewelry. The new collection proved once again why we keep coming to Gucci to build wardrobes for our clients: it balances wearable core pieces with magical statement pieces.

It was a magical experience not only to see and feel the collections, but also to meet its designer – Frida Giannini herself. Approachable, warm, and beautiful, Frida was lovely! -Jesse
