Considering how loved Roland Mouret‘s designs are by our clients and celebrities, and not to mention the many times we’ve raved about his sexy yet sophisticated pieces, it’s quite surprising that his first American store has only just opened. Although we loved visiting his first store in London’s Mayfair neighborhood, we are more than excited to have his second store right here at 952 Madison Avenue in New York.
Sharp silhouettes and color blocking galore, Mouret’s designs are for the confident, modern woman who is sexy but also means business. With his signature “bulletproof” ready-to-wear collection and bridal line suspended from the ceiling and geometric accessories strategically placed on glossy red fixtures, the 1,400-square-foot store is definitely a feast for the eyes.
“I have an amazing chemistry with American women,” Mouret told WWD, “and it was time for me to open in New York and really to start to develop my image in America.”
