Getting into the Holiday gift hunt mode, we’re excited about the launch of Tara’s all-new book, Make Your Own Rules Cookbook, celebrated last night at MindBodyGreen HQ. It includes her collection of healthy, easy, and great-tasting recipes from her travels around the world.

In the meantime, enjoy Tara’s olive guacamole recipe straight from her cookbook!
Olive Guacamole Recipe
SERVES 3
Ingredients:
- 2 avocados
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 1⁄2 cup mixed green and black olives, chopped
- 1⁄4 cup olive juice
- 1⁄2 tomato, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 shakes hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- Juice of 1⁄2 lemon
- Juice of 1⁄2 lime
Directions:
- Mash the avocados with a fork in a small bowl, and stir in the onion, olives, olive juice, tomato, garlic, hot sauce, and spices.
- Toss in the lemon and lime juices, and mash them in with a fork.
