On September 6, thousands of department stores and boutiques around the globe will open their doors to host 4th annual – and biggest so far – Fashion’s Night Out. To make your planning easy, we’ve selected some of our favorite upcoming FNO events in New York and Chicago:
5th Avenue and 58th Street
In celebration of its 111th birthday, Bergdorf Goodman will throw a big party at the Women’s Store. Starting at 3pm, it will feature appearances by beauty experts and the store’s favorite Tumblr bloggers (111 were invited). BG will also entertain the guests with a Party Booth and tarot readings, and celebrate its new book Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf Goodman.
723 Madison Avenue (between 63rd and 64th streets)
One of our favorite boutiques, J. Mendel will celebrate Fashion’s Night Out with a private book signing with Mary Helen Bowers – founder of Ballet Beautiful.
845 Madison Avenue (between 70th and 71st streets)
Tom Ford Beauty specialists will be in the Madison Avenue store from 6pm to 10pm to present the new Noir Fragrance and video (excited to see it!).
660 Madison Avenue (between 61st and 62nd streets)
The store will extend its hours (10am to 10pm), and donate 10% of proceeds to the Human Rights Campaign in support of its Marriage Equality Program.
15 East Oak Street
The store will stay open an extra hour (until 8pm) to celebrate fashion and support the Human Rights Campaign (ten percent of proceeds from purchases made between 5pm and 8 pm will benefit the campaign).
700 North Michigan Avenue
Hosted by our friend Amanda Puck of The Foodarazzi, along with other stylish Chicagoites, the evening full of fall fashion, cocktails, and music, promises to be fun! Stop by between 6pm and 9pm.
