3 VT Approved Valentine’s Day Looks

3 VT Approved Valentine's day looks

Valentine’s day is just a couple of weeks away, which means if you’re still unsure about your look for this V-day, now is a good time to start planning! And, if you have major plans but are unsure of what to wear, VT’s NYC stylists Kellye, Gaby, and Nikki are here to give you some tastefully sexy inspiration, courtesy of Bergdorf Goodman.

Here at Visual Therapy, we don’t concern ourselves too much with what trends are in or which designers are hot at the moment. Instead, we encourage our clients to aspire to become the most authentic versions of themselves by defining their own style type. Since most of our clients are real women with jobs and families, what matters most is which silhouettes are flattering because those are the pieces that have the ability to transform you into the star you were always meant to be.

Abiding by the VT philosophy, Kellye, Gaby, and Nikki chose three looks that they felt the most beautiful in and that fit each of their Valentine’s Day plans. It goes without saying that Valentine’s Day isn’t the only day a woman wants to feel sexy and dress the part, so even if you don’t have romantic plans this V-Day, ask yourself the following questions anytime a sexy look is called for:

1. Is it flattering?
2. Do I love it?
3. Does it make me feel sexy?

If the answer is yes to all three then go for it! Curious about which looks passed the test for our stylists? Keep scrolling to find out.

Kellye Henton, Lead Stylist

Kellye chose this edgy black Paco Rabanne chainmail dress for a Valentine’s Day party with her boo. The slinky dress paired with strappy Guiseppe Zanotti sandals perfectly exemplify her Chic-Avant garde style type. Since Kellye tends to wear a lot of black, she likes to mix it up with different textures and fabrics and she couldn’t resist this sexy black dress made entirely out of metal!

Gabriela Rocha, Lead Stylist

Gaby went with a minimalist black leather top by Theory with wide leg ombre velvet pants by Cushnie for dinner with her husband at a trendy restaurant in Nolita. A true Bohemian style type, Gaby loves color, prints, and long sweeping silhouettes. When she saw these tricolor velvet trousers she knew they’d be the perfect pop of color for Valentine’s Day in downtown NYC.

Nikki Rose, Assistant Stylist

Nikki chose an asymmetrical lace Givenchy dress that fits her chic every day style type to a T. While the silhouette is more conservative, the cut out and the lace transform the entire look into a much sexier one. Nikki feels this will be the ideal look for her intimate Valentine’s Day group dinner in NYC.
