Looking for your next show stopping look? Look no further than Cong Tri. VT Stylists Kellye, Gaby, and Nikki were lucky enough to attend Cong Tri’s debut as a global designer this past NYFW. There’s nothing better than sitting front row for a brand that you aren’t familiar with—it makes the entire experience that much more unique and exciting.
With that being said, Cong Tri had one of the most jaw dropping collections we viewed at NYFW. Not only because we weren’t sure what to expect, but also because of the incredible detail and beauty that went into each garment. The brand, founded by Nguyen Cong Tri, was created in his native home of Vietnam in 1999. As a self-taught visionary, all his designs are handmade, incorporating inspiration from traditional aesthetics as well as modern techniques such as embellishment and laser-cutting.
