The new J. Mendel boutique at 787 Madison Avenue

Luxe deluxe is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Gilles Mendel. He hosted an opening party for his brand new flagship boutique at 787 Madison Avenue yesterday evening. We have been great friends, fans and huge supporters of his collection for almost 20 years. It was a proud moment for Joe and I to walk into his new boutique and see the J.Mendel furs, ready-to-wear collection and accessories, housed in a space where everything can be presented and featured in a magical way. Some of my favorite things were the fur clutches, the leather cocktail dresses, evening gowns and of course, the sable room.
