Style Tip: The Only Transitional Weather Advice You Need

Here’s the good news: Winter is almost over. We’ve already started to pack away our clients’ down coats and furs, and are in the midst of a busy spring shopping season. While you’re excited to jump into your pastels, florals and whites, it can be tough to dress during those odd in-between days when it’s not freezing, but not yet warm enough to wear flats and leather jackets.

The key to transitional weather style is blending winter pieces to stay warm with spring pieces that will move you into the new season. Forget the rules (such as no white before Memorial Day), and have fun with infusing bright color and whites. For example, keep your baseline simple with warm black and navy pieces, and use accessories to add a pop of color or white.
