Style Tip: Here’s What To Pack for Resort

Resort fashion

With resort season in full swing, we’re getting our clients ready and I have to say that with resort, less is more. It’s all about functional pieces that will multi-task, creating new twists on your look and transitioning day into evening with a quick swap of accessories.

Start with a ‘pop of color’ bathing suit — our favorite brand is Eres (reference our book ‘Life in Color: The Visual Therapy Guide to the Perfect Palette’ to find the most flattering color for you). Bring 2-3 bathing suits that fit you really well. Make sure you grab a pareo — you can’t go wrong with a timeless Hermes print. Protect your face from the sun with a classic neutral fedora, and finish the look with metallic flat sandals and an earthy necklace.

Eres Les Essentiels Asia Shaping Swimsuit, $365
Hermes Concours d’Etriers Pareo, $550
Jimmy Choo Doodle Mirrored-Leather Sandals, $625
J. Crew Panama Hat, $58

For evening, opt for a refreshing head to toe neutral look that will emphasize your sun-kissed skin, paired with Valentino rockstud sandals (these just don’t get old!), a Bottega Intrecciato clutch and a statement cuff.
