Céline you spin me right round, baby, right round.
On Sunday, we got to experience Céline’s experiential set—a first for us. From the moment we took our revolving turntable seats till the very end of the show, everything was in motion. The set was simple, but there was an air of chaos in the room. Controlled chaos, that is. The models came out to a choreography that created a sense of organized confusion. Even though things were moving fast—the audience, the models and even the clothes—there was still that familiar feeling of Céline-esque structure.
The Fall/Winter collection consisted of classic pieces reminiscent of previously shown Phoebe Philo collections including boxy suits, tuxedo coats, collared shirts, and oversized dresses. Shoulders were also a focus of this collection, with some pointed and others full of detail. Our highlights from the show are below, along with our favorite looks from the F/W ’17 collection.
