I am so grateful to Bergdorf Goodman’s Todd Okerstrom for inviting me to the Carolina Herrera show. It was a very rainy Monday morning, but it had an unexpected bright spot in store for me!
As usual, Mrs. Herrera delivered a show filled with beautiful lady-like fashion. The collection did not shy away from furs, cinched waists, and strong 1940s-inspired shoulders. The show also featured some really gorgeous color combinations. Look #27 (one of my favorites!) was the most beautiful crimson velvet top with a bit of shoulder interest, and a high waisted broadtail skirt in magenta with the perfect amount of mermaid at the bottom to add a bit of motion.

I also love Look #9 which I would call “Shades of Grey”… light grey, dark grey, grey fur, grey leather and grey suede.
