NYFW ’17 Designer Spotlight: Brandon Maxwell

New York Fashion Week has come to an end but there’s one designer we can’t get out of our minds—Brandon Maxwell. Mark our words, Maxwell—who previously worked as Lady Gaga’s fashion director—is the designer to watch! Our personal stylist intuition tells us that Maxwell has that je ne sais quoi that is missing in the luxury market with his chic and wearable classics. It’s easy to see why top luxury retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman carry his line.

Our lead stylist Kellye and VT Creative Director Jesse were invited to a luncheon where they were able to chat with Brandon and preview his favorite looks from the F/W 2017 line. His goal as a designer is to make women feel beautiful, sophisticated, and powerful, with timeless garments that are impeccably tailored. With the changing climate of the luxury market, we believe his innovative and original designs will lead to a successful global brand. If we could describe Brandon Maxwell in three words, it would be dramatic, sleek, and tailored. Check out our favorites from his F/W ’17 collection and some shots from the luncheon below.
