Last night I was completely mesmerized watching “The Fashion Fund” on Ovation, a TV show that documents the fierce competition for the title of Fashion Fund Designer of the Year, overseen by Vogue’s Anna Wintour. The prize comes with $300,000 and a one-year mentorship with some of the biggest names in fashion – such as Alexander Wang, Altuzzara and Rodarte, who, in their turn, launched their careers thanks to Wintour.
It’s refreshing to see that one of the most influential figures in the fashion industry is so tirelessly proactive in keeping fashion alive and cultivating young talent. What a great way to give back! Check out the show – you will love it. -Jesse
