Joe and I recently attended an exclusive breakfast preview of the Chado Ralph Rucci Fall collection at Bergdorfs, and it was clear that Ralph Rucci has taken the brand to the next level.
Ralph Rucci has long been known as a great American couturier. He really understands ensemble dressing that’s sleek, ladylike and also modern. As we’re creating wardrobes for our clients, we’re looking for the new chic power lady look, and Chado is the answer. A lot of the fabrics he chose are the finest of the finest, with lots of silk, cashmere and jersey. He understands the architecture of a woman’s body and dresses it accordingly. The end result is always tasteful, sexy and ladylike. It’s for the woman who enters the room and in a quiet subtle way, takes it over.
