In his Christian Dior Haute Couture collection, Raf Simons paid tribute to the house of Dior by honoring its silhouette and taking it into the next Millenium. It was a perfectly avant-garde approach to classic ladylike dressing with an ode to Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake and Comme des Garçons.

The show was a tribute to global culture and the brand’s place within it. Raf commissioned four iconic photographers to re-imagine the collection live. The stunning images on the walls at the show were shot as the show happened by Patrick Demarchelier (Europe), Willy Vanderperre (the Americas), Paolo Roversi (Asia) and Terry Richardson (Africa).

The experience was breathtaking, even before knowing how interactive the show was. Now that I know it all happened simultaneously, it brings it to a whole different level. Genius! –X LM & Jesse
