Elements of Style: Rosie Lai

“It’s autumn! Just kidding.” That’s how I feel like the NYC weather has been lately, alternating between warm and cool days, and it’s become incredibly frustrating to dress for it. So I decided to outsmart it with a short-sleeved sweater… Ha! Of course, being me, a chic style type with whimsical sprinkled in, I could not leave the house without some color or pattern. So I opted for this Lokitho skirt I got from my hometown Hong Kong, that I’ve been wearing with a lace top in the summer. Seamlessly transitioning from summer to fall? Rosie-2, Weather-0!

But lest we forget that it is technically fall, I kept my color palette cozy and grey-ish (more grey looks here!) with this ivory Calvin Klein belt I stole from my mom (sorry mom!) and finished my look with my taupe PS1 messenger bag.
