Last week I completed a bedroom installation on a project in the West Village and the client explained that her bedroom is now so chic that she doesn’t want to leave her bed!
This statement had me thinking about how important the bedroom is in the grand scheme of designing a home. The room where your day begins and ends should be a peaceful oasis that represents who you really are inside. For example, if you are a minimalist who requires a zen space to feel relaxed, you don’t want to wake up with a room full of accessories. If you are chic and a lover of everything luxurious, your room should have layers upon layers of luxury. Boho by nature? Be sure to include some warm wood details or other natural elements.
Here are our 15 fabulous reasons to stay in bed—enjoy.
