Princess Catherine: Redefining The Fashion Rules

Have I mentioned how much we adore Kate Middleton – or should I say – the Duchess of Cambridge? Besides acting lovely and looking tasteful wherever she goes, Kate seems very authentic. I’ve been watching the Royal couple’s visit to Canada and US, and you can tell that they’re real just by the way they shake someone’s hand.

Best of all, Kate is using her influence to redefine the idea of how public figures dress: she’s all about recycling! Even when she knows that she’s going to be photographed, she still wears the same look twice. Her secret is in smart restyling. She gave a fresh air to the Reiss dress that she wore for official engagement photos by Mario Testino by adding a fun red hat and a pretty diamond maple brooch that was lent to her by the Queen.

On another occasion, Kate restyled a printed blue dress coat that she wore in 2009 by adding some new accessories to it. Bravo, Princess! – Jesse
