As we plunge into the depths of winter and are just beginning to see spring/summer in the stores, the furthest thing from your mind is what you will be wearing next fall. But with the men’s shows just wrapping up in Europe, I thought you might be up for a peek at what’s to come, because it’s pretty exciting! -Joe
Berluti has raised the bar for Fall 2015. I am most excited about this collection because of its fresh take on luxury, especially the fabrications. The fit and proportion are perfection for an athletic physique, and the color palette is rich and sophisticated.
Hermes rarely disappoints and for fall, as usual, I am obsessed with the outerwear pieces. The olive green leather pants are fresh with the full blue overcoat, the shearlings are super luxe, and the jumpsuit seems to be headed into the “must-have” category.
Fendi stunned with color blocking, rich colors and as always, luxurious textures. The ultimate inspiration for weekend or casual days.
Backstage, Slimane said: “I just issued a project called Paris Sessions, which is about a young generation of musicians in Paris, and the show is about them, really. It is an homage.” The fall ’15 collection is the epitome of cool, with skinny jeans, an abundance of leather and a monochromatic palette.
Balenciaga hit the mark with this futuristic collection, super clean lines and a new take on minimalism. Boxy and monochromatic, this collection is a go-to for the avant-garde style types.
