Introducing: VT’s NYC Girls

Kellye Henton Gabriela RochaMost of you probably already know Kellye and Gaby (seen above), VT’s NYC based lead stylist duo. But, with our recent addition of two new members of the VT office, we thought we’d formally introduce you to the whole team and their style aesthetics. There’s always a lot going on behind the scenes of our client presentations and shopping appointments and the girls below are the ones who help it go off without a hitch.

Nikki Rose – Social Media & Styling Assistant

First up, and our newest hire is Nikki Rose. She’s our Social Media and Styling Assistant and if you watch our Instagram stories, you’ve probably seen her handy work. She describes her style as whimsical/chic because she loves to mix and match different pieces while adding an element of surprise. Her feminine, yet edgy aesthetic means she loves a great pair of leather pants but would pair them with a shimmery boot or a feminine silk blouse. Some of her favorite brands (if only she could afford them all!) are Vince, Alexander Wang, Fleur de Mal, Alexander McQueen and Dior. Her style motto is “sexy, but keep it tasteful.”

Nikki wears a Theory jacket, Zara sweater, T by Alexander Wang pants, Alexandre Birman boots, and a Chloe bag.

Gabriela Rocha – Lead Stylist & Blog Director

Gaby is in charge of what makes it onto the VT blog and social media channels, and she also works side by side with lead stylist Kellye to style and build the wardrobes of NYC’s top power women. A true Bohemian at heart, Gaby loves a good print and and any bag shaped like a bucket.  She’s known for her uniform of vintage style denim, striped sweaters, and booties or high top sneakers, but she’ll often step it up a notch when she’s working with clients, adding leather pants, silk blouses, and blazers to her lineup. Second hand shopping is her drug and she and lives for the thrill of hunting down super special pieces from seasons past. Some of her all time favorite brands are Céline, Dries Van Noten, Attico, and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Ana Szumilas – Creative Assistant: Interior Design

As Visual Therapy’s Creative Assistant, Ana wears many hats. She’s VT co-founder Joe Lupo’s right hand for interiors but she also regularly contributes to the blog and is the reason our Instagram grid is so beautifully curated.  Ana’s style is a combination of west coast casual and east coast edge. Her love of neutrals and minimalism can be credited to her upbringing in Southern California. Her closet is a sea of white, neutrals, black, and the occasional print. The last four years in New York City have helped her take her casual style up a notch and she’s become a bit edgier—adding leather jackets, black booties, and denim to her wardrobe must-haves. As a chic style type, she’s more drawn to pieces of clothing with interesting textures and fabrics, as opposed to the shape and volume of pieces. Her go-to outfit would be a monochromatic mix of pieces with different textures including leather, knits, suede, and denim.

Lindsey Weisbrot – Studio Director

Lindsey is the second newest addition to the Visual Therapy team. She’s our studio director— meaning she’s the brains and backbone of the company. She takes care of invoicing, scheduling, and makes sure we’re pursuing business development opportunities. We like to describe her style as classic meets edgy. Lindsey’s go-to look for fall is a fun oversized sweater paired with cropped denim jeans and a chunky statement boot. Her favorite places to shop are Revolve and Bloomingdales where she always finds great pieces by Lovers & Friends, Mother, French Connection, and Sam Edelman.

Kellye Henton – Lead Stylist

Kellye is one of VT’s veteran lead stylists, moving from Chicago to NYC 6 years ago. Since leaving the Windy City her style has evolved and become a blend of edgy/chic. Her love for anything with grommets, leather, zippers, oversized silhouettes, and head to toe “lewks” means she has killer street style and an amazing eye for detail. A few of her favorite brands are Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang, Céline, and Dion Lee.
