We love all things Hermès, and seeing the second Haute Bijouterie jewelry collection designed by the brand’s artistic director Pierre Hardy at the Madison Avenue Flagship store was amazing. Made with precious metals and jewels, the one of a kind pieces were inspired by Kelly, the Birkin and other to die-for accessories by the fashion house. In an interview to ELLE.com, director of jewelry at Hermès, Laurence Reulet, explained: “Pierre wanted to pay tribute to our leather bags, because Hermès bags are considered like real jewels all over the world…We also developed an exclusive chain in rose gold, mixing different types of links. Rose gold is a real signature of our jewelry, since it reminds me of the color and sensuality of leather and skin.”
Haute Bijouterie pieces translate the timeless and chic style cultivated by Hermès, and some of them can be special ordered to be made just for you in Paris (ladies, pass this information on to your men – it’s a great gift idea for a special occasion!)
The 49-piece collection is showcased on the fourth floor of Hermès at 691 Madison Avenue through December 8th.
